The Cumberland County Chapter has shared their travel information for 2025:
October 6-10, 2025 -- Rivers of Steel and More (30 seats available)
Deposit - $200 per person -- Cost - $1,599 per person for double occupancy, $1,885 per person for single occupancy
Travel to Pittsburgh for a 3-night stay in one hotel.
Day one tour The Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. Dinner will be at the Grand Concourse.
Day two begins with a trolley tour of Pittsburgh. Lunch will be at SouthSide Works. Afternoon activities include the
Culture of Ketchup Tour, The Frick, the Senator John Heinz History Center, and the Duquesne Incline.
Dinner will be at the LeMont Restaurant followed by time at the Allegheny Observatory.
Day three includes visits to the Cathedral of Learning, Carnegie Museum of Natural History,
Carrie Blast Furnace Industrial National Historic Center, and a Sunset Dinner Cruise on the Gateway Clipper.
Leaving Pittsburgh, we will visit Frank Lloyd Wright’s Kentuck Knob and Fallingwater and dine at
Asiago Tuscan Italian Restaurant before spending the night in Johnstown.
In the morning, we will take our Box Car tour for a ride around the Horseshoe Curve, visit the
Blair Candy Company and have lunch at Casino Restaurant. In the afternoon we will visit the Wall that Heals,
the Railroaders Memorial Museum and the Oak Spring Winery before heading home.
This is a very comprehensive tour of Pittsburgh and the surrounding area.

Travel with us to Broadway to be entertained with a high-energy musical about Alicia Keys as she fine tunes
her life and craft in Manhattan’s Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood.
Lunch will be at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., a short walk to the theater.
December 30, 2025 - January 2, 2026 -- New Year’s Eve Extravaganza (30 seats available)
Deposit - $200 per person -- Cost – $835 per person double occupancy, $999 per person single occupancy
Celebrate the New Year with your friends and family at Myrtle Beach. Enjoy your stay in a suite at the Beach Cove Resort. Dinner will be at Original Benjamin’s Calabash Seafood and then we will attend the Carolina Opry Holiday Show.
The next day brunch will be at Pine Lakes Country Club followed by a matinee performance at
the Alabama Theater. Enjoy a New Year’s Eve Dinner and Celebration at the hotel (including party favors,
appetizers, and a champagne toast.) HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
New Year’s Day activities includes an Eco Boat Tour of Murrells Inlet and a visit to
Brookgreen Gardens’ Night of a Thousand Candles. Dinner will be at Bubba’s Fish Shack.
