Dauphin County Parks & Recreation is excited to offer a summer of fun events for the whole family with our Sunset Music & Movie Series! This 13-week series will highlight local performing arts organizations and a summer movie series. Pack a picnic basket (or purchase from our food concessions), bring your blankets and your lawn chairs, and enjoy an evening of family fun!  These events are all free for everyone to attend thanks to our event sponsor, Renewal by Andersen.

On Live Performance Nights, food trucks will begin serving at 6:00 PM. On movie nights, The Friends of Fort Hunter will sell popcorn, candy, and beverages to benefit Fort Hunter Mansion and Park.

In conjunction with Central Pennsylvania Music Hall of Fame, Dauphin County Parks and Recreation invites you to enjoy a beautiful day along the Susquehanna River and celebrate all that Pennsylvania has to offer. The day will be filled with music performed by several amazing bands who got their start right here in Pennsylvania.

There will be an abundance of tempting tastes and treats.  Savor locally-sourced foods from some fabulous vendors and food trucks that will be available for purchase while enjoying the upbeat sounds of top-notch musicians here at scenic Fort Hunter Park. Wine, Craft Beer, and Distilled Spirits will be available to taste and for purchase showcasing some of the best products from across the state.  Sip your favorites as you also enjoy a fine gathering of craft vendors with unique items for every style.  Each guest will receive a Proudly PA! Souvenir glass available at the event. It’s your passport to a perfect day in PA!

Bring your lawn chairs!  Picnic baskets are permitted, but there will be plenty of food trucks and dessert vendors with savory and sweet foods to buy and share.

Outside alcohol is not permitted.
